Emergency hospital at the end of Second World War

After the September 1944 Battle of Arnhem hospitals were evacuated in early 1945. One location for the patients was an emergency hospital in Nunspeet, unfortunately some 60 kilometers away from Arnhem. It was situated in an empty barack camp of the Arbeidsdienst. It was in operation from November 1944 till August 4, 1945.

The small cover, Nunspeet 19.7.1945, has an invitation for a farewell party on August 4. After the hospital brake down, children of NSB-parents (NSB = Dutch nazi party).
